Description: Heart and Thumbprint with worn gold trim Card tray. Tarentum Glass Company 1889-1912. This pattern was originally marketed by the name “Columbia” and in later years “Hartford”. The glass is clear and any colors you see in the photographs are reflections from indoors where I photographed the piece. The tray has the mold marks and straw marks and bubbles common in this era of glassware. Manufactured in a four-part mold. Nice color and clarity and impression from the mold is sharp. The gold is worn especially around the rim. Very small chip on underneath side on one end. The gold point next to the heart has the tip chipped. More information on this pattern refer to Tarentum Pattern Glass by Robert Irwin Lucas on pages 312-315. Please email with questions or comments. Weight before packing 9 oz.
