They can be adjusted by a jeweler. Each one is a lovely, stand-alone work of art. I would modify them into four pendants, get silver necklaces or chains, and make 4 gifts out of these. I just hand polished them with a jewelry cleaning cloth. No dipping! The earrings are handmade in Thailand and are marked as sterling and "SIAM," The black niello and silver combination gives these earrings a classic look that will complement any outfit.
