Heath Tech System LS-800 W/ Case cable pipe locator set

Description: Here is a nice Heath LS-800 set, it looks to be a similar locator to the Metrotech 800 series. It comes with a case that is in excellent shape and the transmitter and the receiver both have new batteries. The leads look to be almost new. I rebuilt the battery tray for the transmitter, it had cracked on one end and I used plastic welding and epoxy to repair it. It slides into the transmitter tray tight and that by itself would hold it. See the pic for any questions. I took apart the case for the receiver and the transmitter and on the receiver reinforced a few of the posts for the screws on the case. One was missing so one screw is not in place but the rest are now stronger than new. The display on this set is very similar to the Metrotech 810 dx with the left and right auto sweep with the tone like you see with the other locators. It gives depth on my test track well and appears to be really easy to use for basic locating. I am not sure the frequency it uses, but tested the inducing function as well as direct connect and seems to check out. I don't have much experience with these, but for somone needing a good basic locator at a great price this one is for you. I have seen a few on Ebay, but none seem to be guaranteed to work.
