Robert was not only an important animator but also a well-known fine artist as well. His work has been exhibited in major museums around the world including the Smithsonian and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, as well as being displayed in the White House under two Presidents. But he (like many other masters) is not as well known by the public for his contributions in the animation art world. Even though his work spans all the major studios and many of the greatest animated features of all time. Robert worked at Hanna Barbera, Marvel, Jim Henson productions, Filmation, Disney and more. He worked on Sleeping Beauty, Oliver and Company, Rescuers Down Under, Heidi’s Son and The Lion King. In television, he worked on The Jetsons, the Muppet Babies, He-Man and the MOTU, The Transformers, My Little Pony, The Smurfs, Kwicky Koala and more.
