Description: Helena Wolfsohn Dresden Hand Painted Watteau Scene Blue Gold Shallow Bowl Nice antique German porcelain square shaped shallow bowl. Decorated in alternating panels with hand painted Dresden flowers over blue and scenes with hand painted Watteau scenes / courting couples. Each panel is framed by gold gilt scrollwork designs. Marked on the bottom with the Augustus Rex AR mark, which was used by Helena Wolfsohn between 1879 and 1883. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 8 5/8 inches wide x 1 7/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
