The rims are banded in an embossed basketweave pattern and trimmed in gold. Although pre-owned, the set comes from a display collection and neither piece has any damage or wear. All gold trim is completely intact. The bottom of the cup and the back of the saucer are stamped with the blue Herend mark shown in the photos. The saucer is alsso incised 1728.
