Description: ROTHSCHILD BIRD (RO) HEREND Porcelain 1707 Demitasse Cup & Saucer Set. Condition is excellent. Measurements: Cup is 2 1/4" tall / Saucer is 4 1/2" wide. Motif 11 of 12. Offered for sale is a stunning antique Herend porcelain crescent-shaped salad plate manufactured in Hungary. This is done in the Rothschild pattern and it is made of white porcelain with striking, hand-painted bird and insect details. Each piece is marked on the bottom with the Herend trademark and the ware number, in this case 1707. There are 12 different bird motifs in this set. This is a top quality piece and the overall condition is excellent. It is extremely clean with no chips, cracks or repaired areas. The hand-painted details are glossy with no crazing and the trademarks on the bottom are easy to read.
