Description: Commemorative plate issued in 1951 for Salem Evangelical Lutheran and Evangelical and Reformed Church in Washington township, Schuylkill County, PA. The church is also known as Hetzel's Church named for Peter Hetzel, early schoolmaster at the church. There is a short history of the church on the bottom of the plate. The plate itself is in the Rhythm style by Homer Laughlin, and the graphics by World Wide Art Studios of Covington Tennessee. Measures about 9.25" in diameter. Condition: very nice condition, I see no issues. I would not hesitate to give this as a gift.
