Description: This is a board to replace the filter capacitors in an HP 410C multimeter. The origional capacitors are the multi section can type and there's' not a convenient way to mount modern replacements. Threaded stand-offs that thread on the the power transformer's screws secure the board in place. No mechanical modification, other than disordering old components, is needed. Photos show an installation example of the prototype version. You'll received professionally manufactured boards. Assembled PCB with the following components: 4 22 μF at 450V 2 1200 μF at 25V4 1N4007 Diodes15k and 25.5k resistors. Capacitors are Nichicon rated at 105F Note that no instructions are provided. This should be obvious how to connected by following the PCB traces. It is recommended to remove and re-connect one wire at a time to avoid mistakes. No existing wires need to be cut, they can be removed from the lacing as needed to reach the board. 1 or 2 usually needs to be extended. The diodes and two resistors are moved to the PCB as well for convenience. Wire will be needed to go from the power transforer to the diodes. If the meter is a version that lacks the rear ohms zero adjustment, the resistors can be ignored.
