Description: Heywood Wakefield Encore Dresser Set, in champagne finish. To my eyes, this version of the great mid century modern (MCM) designer is definitely the most sleek and has the best feet and curves. These are solid birch wood, and some drawers have original cherry pattern lining that is still perfect. Two dressers sold as set: 5 drawer dresser, perfect condition. 8 drawer dresser, excellent condition, needs light sanding and varnish on top. A very small amount of superficial white paint at bottom left drawer. I never removed it, thinking I would do it at the same time as also light sanding the top and using the Heywood varnishes that are available on the web. Otherwise, there is no damage to the top or the front. Some light wear of drawers as expected for an antique piece, but minimal. The original mirror frame for the 8 drawer dresser is included, but needs new mirror glass fitted. I can sell separately, but prefer to sell the set since they are hard to come by together. 5 drawer dresser, $700 8 drawer dresser and mirror, $500 Local pick up in South Florida only, or you make shipping arrangements.
