Description: Hidden Worlds - Caves of the Dead is a 3D documentary about ancient Mayan culture. It was natively shot in 3D using a stereoscopic camera rig. This film was not released on 3D Blu Ray in the US. This is the German release hence the German title on the cover, but it includes the English audio and it is Region Free (it will play in a US Blu Ray player). It has a neat lenticular (3D) cover. Plot Description: In Mayan times, water holes and caves were considered the entrance to Xibalba, the underworld. A place where sacrifices were made to the gods - objects of everyday life but also bloody human sacrifices. The relics of these acts are still there today, preserved underwater for over 1000 years. Director Norbert Vander and four professional research divers went deep into the Mexican jungle with specially developed camera systems to guarantee a unique 3D experience.
