Description: Perfect for Ren/Highland Fairs or Xmas holiday caroling. For consideration is a beautiful handmade, 3-piece Victorian/Dickens' style capelet, sash, & long skirt. This outfit is flexible in sizing & is adjustable from a small to plus sizes. The outfit is a beautiful plaid of white, black, & green w/ yellow, 100% cotton, medium-weight, flannel/brushed cotton. Plaid is woven, not stamped. The capelet is made extra wide to accommodate wearing a blazer under it &/or fitting larger sizes. The capelet is fully lined with a white bleached cotton muslin. The capelet is a seamless cut and it closes at the neckline with a large white frog. The skirt has an elastic draw waist for tying off to your fit inside the back center seam. The waist band is top stitched for a nice finish to help keep the elastic from rolling. A generous sweep allows for wearing over crinolines as well as hoops. The hemline is just the selvage edge of the fabric with a very small fringe to it so it can be worn as is or hemmed. Skirt is shown over a hoop in some pics & is not included in this sale. Plaid is matched & aligned at the back seam. Back seam is pinked. Sash is natural fringed edges, 2 lengths joined at the center with the plaid matched. Includes a wide red ribbon waist sash long enough for a nice big bow in back. You can cut it off to the best length for your size. This is shown on both a small & large(plus) size body form.
