Description: Selling one 1980 Hamilton khaki field military watch. This is a highly collectible watch powered by Hamilton’s iconic 649 (W10) movement. I fully restored this watch and it has been on my bench for over six months. Mainly, I’ve been waiting for a replacement crown, but have not been able to source an original. So with that, I placed the closest replacement crown I could find. As you can see it does not have the iconic “H”. Plus the crown does not have a gasket making this not waterproof. However, this being a classic collectors piece I highly doubt people would wear it in the pool. I will include the original crown with this purchase. As you could see on the timegaffer it is keeping time within 9 to 10 seconds positive a day. I intentionally sent my watches a few seconds fast because most people don’t service their watches every 3 to 5 years and when the oil starts degrading, it slows down. NOS vintage wrist watch band.
