Nicholson, W.F. Cooper, and other notables; the communities of Ewell's Station, Santa Fe, Mount Pleasant, Southport, Williamsport, Kinderhook, New York, Hurricane Switch; Spring Hill Academy, Jackson College, Columbia Female Institute, the Columbia Atheneum, Mount Pleasant Academy, and other schools; a military history including the first Seminole War, the war with Mexico and the Civil War period; early businesses; various lodges; Churches and clergymen; and other items of interest.
