Description: HMF - PERFORMANCE SERIES FULL SYSTEM Fits: Kawasaki KFX 450R (2008-2014) The Kawasaki KFX 450R HMF system is available as a Slip-On or Full System in the Performance and Competition exhausts. Depending on the exhaust series, the slip-on system picks up 4.8-5 HP to the rear wheels, while the Full System adds another 1-2 horse power. The Performance exhaust will be roughly 4-6dB louder than the stock muffler, however the Competition Inserts or HMF Quiet Core can decrease that 2-4dB. Additionally, the aluminum shells weighs substantially less that the stock exhaust. Fuel Tuning is absolutely required when installing an HMF Exhaust on this machine. Failure to tune the engine can cause excessive damage to the exhaust system and engine, while voiding the warranty on your exhaust and possibly on your machine. (check with local dealer).
