Description: Offered is HO Scale Construction Type III Barricade Kit made of Laser Board. The kit consists of an assembly jig, orange/white board stock, 6 Road Closed signs, 12 legs and instructions. The barricades are designed with ease of assembly in mind. The assembly jig makes the barricades an easy to assemble project. The assembled barricade measures approximately 5.5 feet in height and 8 feet wide in HO Scale. Actual size is 0.75” in height and 1.1” wide. The orange/white board stock is 0.020” thick. The Road Closed signs measure 48” x 30” in HO Scale. Actual sign of the signs are 0.552” x 0.345”. You must cut the individual boards from the orange/white board stock with a steel straight edge and a sharp blade. Easy to do, since the orange/white stock comes printed with cutting guidelines. All other pieces in the kit are ready-to-use. Laser cut precision for true-scale accuracy. The legs are made from 0.050” thick Laser Board. The Laser Board is Brown in color. Laser Board is a resin impregnated paper. The material accepts stain, solvent and acrylic based paint extremely well. Resists humidity and warping. Flexible, yet not fragile. Laser board cuts easily with scissors or sharp blade. Laser Board has all of the positive qualities that other thin materials lack, making it the idea choice for small, delicate detail work. Now, add the power and precision of a laser engraver, and the results are nothing short of amazing!! It is recommended to use Super Glue Gel for assembling this kit and a sharp blade for cutting the orange/white stock. The laser board jig is ready to use. The legs are ready-to-use and cut apart from the surrounding material. Use the surrounding material to test your choice of paints and glue. The laser board sheet for the legs measures 4” x 1.375”.
