The aircraft have an improved RDY-radar that can detect up to 24 targets at the same time, track 8 of them and give 4 of them a priority mode. These aircraft use the new MICA missiles which increases the strike range. Dassault Mirage 2000-5EG Designed as a lightweight fighter for the French Air Force, the Dassault Mirage 2000 was first flown on March 10th, 1978. The Mirage 2000 is a fourth generation fighter based on the Mirage III. It has a delta wing, one engine, a dual-intake, and can carry a range of air-to-surface weapons, including laser-guided bombs. Variants include a single-seat or dual-seat version. The dual-seat 2000N is nuclear strike capable, armed with nuclear weapons and equipped with navigation avionics that are capable of handling air-to-ground munitions.
