Description: Holley 1850-3 600 Vacuum Secondary Main Body1978 (2318 date code). Two-corner idle main body; hasn't been modified. Uses same 1-9/16 bore throttle body (base plate) as most 600 and 570 vacuum secondaries and interchanges with those. See below for photos and gaged specs. Complete or build your own 1850 or other 1-9/16 bore carb, wrap in new cast or billet blocks, however you want, and let it rip! Originally went with #10884 metering block. The 1850 main body has provisions for manual or heated choke to be installed, and there are electric choke kits for old model vacuum secondaries, too. This main body made during the Carter administration is awaiting renewed high performance service!The heat port has a threaded plug installed; remove if using a heated choke. Retain the plug if using a manual or electric choke to ensure no vacuum leak.
