Homer Laughlin Fiesta 13-1/2 Turkey Platter Advertising Badcock Furniture

Description: "Badcock will treat you right" is what this Homer Laughlin Advertising Platter says. This Platter with a Turkey Decal is 13-1/2" and shows very little use from utensil marks and do damage. The decal is also bright and complete. The Babcock advertising lettering is somewhat faded on the bottom as you can see from the photos. Homer Laughlin Advertising pieces are fun to collect. I'm pretty sure Badcock Furniture was located in Pennsylvania, but I can't remember now. It would fun to research where they were located and when they were in business. I'm going to guess that this platter is from the 1950s, but it's only a guess. I also wonder if these were Thanksgiving gifts given the Turkey decal. Since it's Badcock, I guess they could have also used a Rooster.
