When not in use, the generator has been stored under a custom marine grade canvas cover, indoors, in a garage. Fuel was always maintained with Stabil fuel stabilizer and the generator has been started once a month for 30 minutes to exercise it and keep the fluids flowing, seals lubricated and battery charge level maintained.
