The barcode scanner is small enough to be held in the hand. A stand enables the barcode reader to be used in a fixed position. A 650-nanometer (nm), 900 milliwatt (mW) laser produces 20 lines of light in an omnidirectional pattern to scan barcodes at different angles and at a speed of up to 1,120 scans per second.The head of the barcode reader tilts up to 30 degrees to accommodate different objects and workstation setups.
