HOT WHEELS - 2005 MUSTANG GT (2007 PRODUCTION) TEST SHOT MODEL

Description: Alrighty - got another gem of mine that's hard to let go of! This is another test shot or pre-production model of the Hot Wheels Mustang GT. This one is a 2007 production of the 2005 Mustang GT body style - and you gotta love that green!. I got this from someone who worked in the area that handled these dev/test shots for the cars. This was one in the lineup - probably supposed to destroy it but he took it home. And I love that this one has the inspection sticker on top and even has the plastic hanger on the wheel - I left it on all these years because I thought it was cool. I'm sure they had a row of these hanging by those plastic ties and I just love the idea of that. It also has a number 2 handwritten on the bottom. Not sure what that means other than maybe it was the second in the lineup? I'm sure there's some other meaning to it. I know nothing of these things. So it obviously isn't perfect - none of these models they used for testing were. They got tossed around a bit. But I love that on the top it has that sticker that says "Sample Testing" and then "LTR 25". No idea what that means. Litter 25? That doesn't seem right. Lot Test Run 25? Maybe....at least makes more sense than "Litter". Also has "MBK" on the bottom of the sticker - no idea what that means either. I didn't collect a huge amount of the test-shot/pre-prod models - just the ones that were the 05 Mustang GT models and body style. Maybe someone can clue me in on what all that means. I'm guessing this is more of a test shot based on what some folks have schooled me on. Not much more I can add - just look closely at the pics and let me know if you have any questions or need more pics or whatever. I'll wrap and ship in the case that's in the pics. That's where I've kept it all these years. And I know the starting point is a bit pricey but I hate putting reserves, And trust me - this is far below what I paid back in the day for it. As sad as that is to admit. I will bubble wrap and pack it securely to ensure it gets there safe.
