She has founded and led award-winning initiatives to widen involvement in higher education and inclusion in reading, including the Kingston University Big Read and She is a priest in the Church of England and a keen singer.Susannah Bowen worked in educational and academic publishing for many years, including at Cengage Australia and Open University Press, McGraw-Hill, UK, and is now with Campion Education, one of Australias largest booksellers/school suppliers. Shes the Industry Associate, Publishing Program, School of Culture and Communication at the University of Melbourne, and Joint Principal Researcher for the Australian Publishing Industry Workforce Survey on Diversity and Inclusion. Shes a cake baker and rides a blue Vespa.Steve Carey worked for Future Publishing, UK, launching nine magazines including Edge and PC Gamer.
