Their film collaboration includes the 1953 MGM musical The Band Wagon.In 1942, Dietz was made MGM's Vice President in Charge of Publicity, a position he helduntil his retirement in 1957. Schwartz also worked for Columbia Pictures as a producer,his work including the 1944 musical Cover Girl.
