Description: HP made the best test equipment in the world and the 8920 Series was another example of that excellence. This listing is for a very clean HP 8920B which had been calibrated and tested. Used on my bench for years and upgraded to an option 055 version ( relay based attenuator with full specs over the .4 to 1Ghz rnage ...actually moved the SA to that unit ) typical standard 60W rated input attenuator. Option 050 Low Noise Synthesizers installed ...unit updated in the field and did not add the external connections, Option 001 High stability reference Option 004 Signalling Option 011 CCITT AUdio FilterOption 014 6Khz Bandpass Filter Option 103 is standard on the 8920B which is the RS-232 HPIB printer port Supports AM, FM and SSB receive Please see the screen shots for the exact current options since this unit has been upgraded The I/O Config screen shots have also been provided which have more details on the HW configuration Unit passes all RF, Misc, and Audio Diagnostics as well as having been run through the periodic calibration. NOTE Unit does not currently include the Spectrum Analyzer /Tracking Generator option but was completely tested with one installed. The unit can be easily upgraded with an SA module ( do not use the 08920-61026 ...8920A only ) which are readily available and compatible modules were used in a number of other models. Unit is on the later Version B6.00. of the firmware . Unit has the electronic attenuator which limits the low frequency at spec to roughly 10 Mhz ...still operational to .240 Mhz.
