Description: Hubley Galleon Pirate Ship Nautical #205 Cast Iron Doorstop w Lamp Holder We are pleased to offer this large & heavy antique Spanish Galleon Pirate Ship cast iron doorstop manufactured by Hubley in Lancaster, Pennsylvania circa 1930s - made in USA. It is hand painted with a cream base color, four white sails (one decorated with a green crescent moon & another with a red cross), red portholes and red pennant flags. It is stamped with No 205 on the unpainted back. Its back has two small circular "buttons" along the right & left edges. The center of the back also has a "U" shaped projection/prong that serves as a bracket hold a lamp with electric light bulb. It sits on two feet (circular on the front & pointed on the back). It stands 10-7/8" tall and measures 10-3/8" wide by 2-5/8" deep. It has numerous small paint chips on the front and some rust on the back & bottom. It has some light fading to the paint from age. There are no breaks or chips to the metal. It is in original condition without any touch ups to the paint or repairs.
