Description: Up for consideration is a vintage Large Mid Century Round Oil painting depicting a Woman in her bathing suit bottoms. This work of art is quite large measuring about 46.5 inches in diameter. It is done on canvas of which the artist constructed an interesting bentwood frame to make a circular work of art with a thin aluminum trim frame. The piece is a matter of interpretation of which one scenario suggested is that the form leads one to believe that the viewer is peeping through a hole in a sort of voyeuristic view. It sports the remnants of a few gallery tags of which there is some handwriting with the name "Alan B or R" please see photos....likewise "....meter". nonetheless it is a colorful painting with wonderful form and of large scale. It has extraordinary decorative appeal. It really needs room to breath...I purchased this painting sometime in the 1990's so I have owned it probably 35 years.
