Description: Up for sale here is this huge vintage Epco power transformer, dated 1956 and Made in USA. This was removed from a vintage piece of tube gear from 1956, some sort of medical CRT device that ran 6146 tubes and a big CRT. I tested this, and with a 120v input I tested the secondaries at 920v (yellow pair), 6.42v (thickest wires), 5.15v (pair next to the thickest ones), and each yellow wire to the other wire near them 11v and 24.25v. Transformers usually test a little high when they're not loaded, so I am guessing the specs on this are 900v, 5v, 6.3v, 24v and 11v. This is a massive transformer, so it should be good for plenty of current. This is used with light to moderate overall wear, and looks really good. It is guaranteed to work for you. This has some great specs and would be awesome for building a tube amp. Please see my pictures for details and dimensions. US shipping and handling is $15. If you have any questions, please ask. I have more transformers and other vintage electronics listed--feel free to take a look!
