Description: Huge Vtg Woven Basket Oval Egg Handwoven Rattan Winnowing Threshing Wall Hanging Beautiful straw colored vintage winnowing or threshing basket. Rare oval or egg shaped, shallow but slightly curved bottom. Tight weave. Very good condition. 24" long by 18" wide at widest point. Leather braided hanging loop shows some wear. Minor areas of discoloration on inside. This particular style of weave and the material seems of Asian origin to me, but I'm not a basket expert.
