This legendary humor publication might feel like a Mad rip-off, but can it be a rip-off when it's HARVEY KURTZMAN and JACK DAVIS, AL JAFFEE, ARNOLD ROTH, WILL ELDER, and others teaming up to make great satire and parody. That's almost the whole Mad team with Kurtzman still at the helm. CONDITION NOTES: VF. Nice copy. The people who I bought this from years ago graded it VF/NM, but I consider it a solid VF. Flat and clean. A few light dings here and there and lightly yellowing paper, but the dings are hard to see on the light cover and the only noticeable discoloration is a small stripe of darker color on the edge. Staples are tight, close to as printed. (Grading is based on a careful examination of the flaws.) SHIPPING COSTS AND COMMENTARY:I have a hard time figuring out what to charge for shipping. I buy shipping gear (envelopes and cardboard mailers to protect things), and I pack carefully so that that item I send is the one you will receive, and if the shipper still manages to f*** it up, I'll refund it anyway, because that's how securely I'll pack it. I also know that if I do "free shipping," it just means I'll just have to build the costs into the price anyway. I've settled on most items being $5 for basic shipping, which usually costs me $5-6 plus materials. I do offer expedited shipping, so I pay $8 plus materials or so and you pay $7. What do you think? eBay has also removed Media Mail as an option for the thing I sell most often, comics without ads, which should qualify, but it means that I'd have to take every item to the Post Office and stand in line to get Media price, so I just pay for USPS ground and you get it quicker and it costs you the same, since I'd have to charge for the time of standing in line. :(
