Description: 2nd COMBAT ENGINEER BATTALION IN HAWAII DURING WWII On 4 November 1941, 2nd Engineer Battalion was relocated to Marine Barracks, Navy Yard, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Upon Arrival, Headquarters and Service Company and Company A were assigned to Construct Camp Caitlin, Oahu. This is a negative from a portfolio of 190 negatives from The Hawaiian Islands the month before the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
