It allows you to navigate, change, or clear the information in the display menus, however the singular use of these keys is dependent on the operator mode. The buttons with text above and below have dual functionality and are made for entering operating commands or navigating through the User and Install Menus. There are three different operational modes that are used when configuring your operator: Run Mode, Menu Mode and Fault Mode.Run Mode is used when the gate is operational and awaiting commands. Menu Mode is used for data entry, menu navigation and menu selection via the Smart Touch Controller Keypad or through a START software connection using an RS-232 port (when using Menu Mode, the motor disengages and all operational commands wll be ignored). Fault Mode is used when alerts, faults, or errors appear on the display.
