Description: Ibanez JEM7V Steve Via Signature Model White Electric Guitar - 2005 - MIJ The JEM7V features an alder body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret fingerboard with pearl and abalone Tree of Life vine inlays. A thin basswood veneer is applied to the top and back of the body to prevent the finish from soaking into the alder and preventing the alder grain from appearing through the finish. The fingerboard is scalloped at the last four frets.The JEM7V 2005 model has the Edge Pro tremolo and a rosewood fingerboard. The JEM7V got a five-ply neck like most Japanese-made Ibanez guitars. The JEM7V was discontinued after 2019. Condition:This is a used guitar. Physically this unit is in great condition. It has a couple of small nicks and chips in the body, as well as some other light marks and scratches. There is nothing major at all. The guitar and knobs have started to turn a cream colour. Please see all photos for further details. The bottom humbucker looks to have possibly been changed in the past as it doesn't have the same coloured poleposts. This guitar has been tested. It is fully functional, the intonation has been checked. The frets are only lightly worn, they are still nice and high. This guitar ships in the pictured, genuine Team J Craft Ibanez case. It has a lovely, wine red coloured, soft inside to protect your new guitar. This guitar ships with its original whammy bar. There is also a spare black cover for the back of the guitar. This seems to have Steve Vai's signature on it. Please note that we have not had this authenticated and is being sold as not authenticated. This unit has had a minor service. This included: Cleaning the neck, buffed and polished frets. Oiled the neck. String height / action adjustment. The body has been cleaned and metal hardware has been polished. For safety during shipping, tension will be taken off the neck. The guitar will need to be tuned on arrival. Please note that although we have tested the intonation and set up the guitar here, due to the nature of guitars as well as the shipping and handling process there is a chance you will need to set up the guitar again.
