Description: Up for sale is a vintage IBM ThinkPad R60 laptop with unique Windows XP Pro, Windows 7 Home & Open DOS triple boot system installed. It is in great working condition. Software: Lenovo Preloaded Windows XP Professional, Windows 7 Home Premium (was added later and activated), Open DOS (32 bit), and other vintage software and games, etc. Hardware: The laptop is equipped with an Intel T2500 Core Duo CPU at 2.00 Ghz, 2.0 GB RAM, 120 GB hard drive, 14" Bright SXGA LCD (1400x1050 resolution), Both Wired LAN and Wireless (802.11abgn), DVDROM drive, 3 USB ports, Modem port, External VGA port, PCMCIA slot, etc. Main Battery holds charge, indicates more than 1 hour at idle after boot. CMOS battery was just replaced, OEM AC Adapter is also included. This laptop is most suitable for legacy Windows XP applications, and some vintage gaming runs on XP, and other vintage applications. As far as Internet goes, Windows XP can do some limited basic internet only, Win 7 is capable of modern internet, but will require more RAM to update browsers to run Internet. Known Issues and Notes:Under Win 7, the wireless adapter driver appears have some unstable issues. Sometimes it can cause Blue Screen shutdown. The reason is that device driver. If it keeps failing, you need to turn off wifi (there is a wifi switch). This never happened with XP. So consider no Wifi under WIndows 7. But Wifi does work perfectly under XP. Cosmetically, it is used with normal wear and tear for its age. There are scrtaches on LCD lid top and bottom. overall in very good cosmetic condition for its age. See pictures.
