Part of a very large and awesome collection of vintage music (all genres) from several radio stations from this region. I'm sloooowly getting them listed as I go through them (so check back in from time to time 🎧) A light cleaning before playing is always recommended. Please view the pictures to grade for yourselfHard to FindLess than 7 other copies of this release remain on eBay (at time of listing)Don't let someone else buy this and let this one slip by collectors....Plenty of listings & auctions to be listed. Proceeds will be heading to one of our local effective charities and help pay for my daughter's college books and other costly things.... All who bid you have my deepest thanks to help further her indoctrination um errr, education 😁Note: With the 'Used/Opened' Media/Music related Items....... I don't get to play or listen through ALL the items I go through (I'd like to but I'd need 72 hrs in a day to do so) - if there ever is a problem with anything just let me know and I'll just issue a refund. Proceeds go either to Hope Rescue Mission or Humane PA so if there is an issue with playback I'll do my best to remedy the situation. I'm just trying to find good homes for harder to find items in harder to find formats vs. them being stored away/destroyed.Note #2: Media Mail USPS is now only 'one way' mail - it's still very reliable but has some issues from time to time - as in if you provide the wrong address it will not be returned to me unless I pay for it to be returned - if you have worries about shipping or a less than desirable mail-person, I'd recommend priority (not cheap but insured - up to $100) - sorry the physical world's a changin' and it not getting cheaper. Plenty of listings & auctions to be listed. Thank you again for viewing my listings. PAloha! 🌴NOTE #3: Interested BUYERS from OUTSIDE THE USA - As of July 2023 anyone outside the US interested in buying one or multiple items please contact me first - eBay is changing their international shipping program and shipping prices outside the US are going to be ridiculous until things are sorted out - Multiple items will need to be combined and weighed properly in order to provide you the best shipping price.___________________________________________________________________ Note: You are buying, bidding or making an offer on the item listed in the title of this listing and description above. He was described by Encyclopædia Britannica as "noted for his lean, modernist interpretations Oistrakh was born in Odesa, Ukrainian SSR, the son of Tamara Rotareva and the violinist David Oistrakh.[3] He began studying violin with Valeria Merenbloom at age 6,[4] though his main teacher was his father.[5][6] In 1943, the 12-year-old Oistrakh enrolled in the Central Music School, Moscow, studying with Pyotr Stolyarsky who had taught both his father and Nathan Milstein.[4] He made his concert debut in 1948;[7] the next year he won the International Violin Competition in Budapest and enrolled in the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.[3] He won the Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition in 1952 and graduated from Moscow Conservatory in 1955.[6]He then joined the faculty of the Conservatory in 1958, becoming a lecturer in 1965. Beginning in 1996, Oistrakh held the post of Professor of the Royal Conservatory in Brussels.[8]Oistrakh appeared frequently internationally, both as a soloist and in joint recitals with his father, or with his father conducting.[2] His wife Natalya Zertsalova is a pianist and has performed with him.[2] Their son, Valery, is an active violist.[3][9]On 14 August 2021, Oistrakh died at age 90; however, media generally reported this on 1 September 2021.[1]Oistrakh was overshadowed by the fame of his father.[7] The asteroid 42516 Oistrach was named in his and his father's honourTchaikovsky Symphony OrchestraOrchestraNative nameБольшой симфонический оркестр имени П.
