This very old iguana (reminiscent of the logo of a well-known beer brand) is a rather rare and very decorative hood ornament, to be placed on the hood or sides of a car, or to display in a display case or as a paperweight on our desk . Without a doubt, lizards are one of the most curious animals for humans. As symbolism, the iguana is a contemplative figure, which takes its time to see the world but, when it is necessary to react, it does so very precisely and quickly. In addition, it is a powerful symbol of regeneration, since the "trick" of this creature is well known, which, when threatened, detaches its tail, which is left waving, while fleeing the other way. Interesting, right? It was part of a friend's collection. I bought it recently. Now I offer it to you as a rare piece, since it is difficult to find (I had another in my collection, but this one exceeds it). It measures 11.3 cm long x 7.5 cm wide and has a height of approximately 3.3 cm. It is made of solid bronze, with a layer of corm that has worn away with age and use. The anchor is by means of two screws that work well (see photos).
