The more of the high-quality blue part in the middle is used, the stronger and more beautiful the finish will be. This product is finished with Itohiki weave, which is the same weaving method as Tatami-omote. Compared with twin-weave weaving, it is sturdier because more rushes are used. Hiba essence, extracted from hiba trees in Aomori Prefecture, is processed on the surface of the fabric using the manufacturer's proprietary technology.
