Description: In the Blue Ridge Mountains is a vintage 1947 Garnet Bancroft Fox print. It is 7 7/8" x 9 13/16" in image size and 8 5/8” x 11” in overall size. It is in very good condition. In the Blue Ridge Mountains features a vintage hunter and two sporting dogs. The calendar portion of the piece has been cropped away. GB Fox (1890-1977) was the nephew of R. Atkinson Fox and was mentored and greatly influenced by him. Chuck Olson CollectionChuck Olson spent over 40 years collecting and traveling the United States in search of unique vintage prints. He was especially interested in prints that were printed for use on calendars in the "Age of the Calendar" from 1900-1960.
