Description: INCREDIBLE VINTAGE ZUNI STYLE AMBER FETISH NECKLACE NEW MEXICO I picked this necklace up at an auction with a variety of Zuni fetish necklaces. Unfortunately, I do not have any details on the artist that created this awesome piece. The upper chip beads which I believe are amber are separated by individual knots. The brown birds that appear wooden are actually carved stone. One bird appears to be mother of pearl. The full length of this necklace when unclasped is 26.5 inches. The clasp is most likely sterling silver and is in need of a polishing. I kind of like the patina though because it shows the age.
