One of the finest World War 2 Aviation photo albums I have ever been privileged to own. These albums were compiled by a pilot named ALF.B.Lick during his domicile at Floyd Bennet Field in Queensbury, New York. He amassed an incredible collection of original snapshots of every plane that flew from and to Floyd Bennet field during the war years. (Many of these planes I have never seen before) I have provided many photos of this album for your inspection which also include original negatives of several of the planes represented in the albums. One would be hard pressed to find an equal and historically significant album from this era and airport. Starting in the 1930s, the United States Coast Guard and United States Navy occupied part of the airport. With the outbreak of World War II, Bennett Field became part of Naval Air Station New York on June 2, 1941. Floyd Bennett Field was a hub for naval activities during World War 2. *I have done my best to show you all the images in this album... but obviously due to photo allotment space I added as much as I could.
