Description: This is a nice starter set of raw Indian Head cents which, in order to price them fairly, I graded as very good, though some will grade higher. The two costliest coins, according to the 2024 Official Red Book of U.S. coins price list, are the 1879, which at very good lists at $12, and the 1909 at $11. As coin and antique collector, I have been buying and selling coins and other collectibles for a quarter century on eBay, which is longer than just about anyone, really, check my feedback, and I have been collecting coins for six decades, which means I am an old turkey...Unfortunately, neither of my grown children nor my grandchildren have expressed much of an interest in my coin collection, so I am culling the herd of duplicates and lower grade coins so that I can bequeath the most valuable portions of the collection to my local library and NPR radio station upon my death. Please do not hesitate to ask any question, because as a long-retired newspaper editor, I well know that the only dumb question is the one not asked.
