Description: WebVinyl Presents! Sauter-Finegan Orchestra “Inside Sauter-Finegan Revisited” Original 1961 U.S. First Pressing Deep Groove Stereo Vinyl 33-1/3 RPM 12” Big Band / Swing / Jazz Record Album w/ Jim Flora Artwork! No Reserve! DESCRIPTION Sauter-Finegan Orchestra - “Inside Sauter-Finegan Revisited” RCA Victor Records LSP-2473 (Stereo) from 1961. Hard to Find Original 1961 U.S. 1S/1S First Pressing Deep Groove Stereo Big Band / Swing / Jazz Compilation album from Sauter-Finegan Orchestra featuring several of their biggest hits. On Deep Groove Black with White Dog at the top Stereo labels and in the Original Jim Flora Artwork Cover with NO Cutouts, promo markings or Barcode. Includes the Original Printed RCA Inner Sleeve. This is an Indianapolis First Pressing as indicated by the Matrix / Runout Vinyl markings that read: Matrix / Runout (Side 1, Stamped): M2 PY3107-1S I A1Matrix / Runout (Side 2, Stamped): M2 PY3108-1S B2 A1 I CONDITION The Sleeve is in decent shape. There is some slight shelf wear and corner softening/wear. There are light creased in the upper right and lower left corners. The top seam is part split about 5” from the opening edge. Still nice looking with no other splits, stains, tears, cutouts, writing, etc. and would rate VG overall. The Vinyl is in clean Glossy condition looking pretty lightly played. If you look closely you can spot some slight scuffs, marks and faint hairlines - no actual scratches i.e something you can feel with a fingernail. VG+ visually and plays like it but with a few random soft tics and spots of groove noise - might be improved further with a better cleaning than I can give with my Discwasher brush. If I provide Play Grades it is done as a courtesy but I only guarantee the Visual Grade. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding. I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words: Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
