Description: Isle of Man commemorated the 50th anniversary of the British-made film 2001 - A Space Odyssey with the release of this folio contaning a sheet of eight stamps (plus a central label) on June 14, 2018. Released to UK audiences in 1968, one year before the moon landing, viewers were amazed by the visual effects and vision of writer Arthur C. Clarke and filmmaker Stanley Kubrick. Information within the folio provides an overview of the film and describes the subject featured on each stamp. Images of the stamp sheet, the front and back folio covers, and the inside of the unfolded folio (a bit truncated because larger than my scanner bed) are provided above. VF/XF, mint, never hinged (MNH) sheet plus folio. No faults. The actual size of this single-fold folio is 215 x 153 mm (8.46 x 6.02 inches).
