Description: What a wonderful blue French chore coat / work wear jacket! These textiles are such wonderful finds! This jacket dates to the 1980s, and almost looks new! The store tag is still stapled on the front breast and it appears to be in unworn condition! The brand is Sapivog. A very sturdy work coat with many many years left of use - in fact, it needs breaking in! These coats were used throughout the French countryside and can still be seen today. This coat is a heavy cotton and polyester blend with a twill weave. This coat has three large front pockets - how functional! MEASUREMENTS : This lovely textile measures approximately: 32 inches long 26 inch sleeves 20 inch shoulder ( measured straight across the top back seam to seam ) 23.5 inches across the chest, laid flat from one underarm to the other CONDITION : This wonderful jacket is in as found condition, (remove the tag) throw it in the wash and it will be ready to use! I think this will wash beautifully, but there are some marks from storage that may or may not wash fully. Across the front, there are some light stains, and the back has some dirt marks as well, each about two inches long. Please see photographs above for a closer look! Jacket 4402
