What an absolutely stunning Vintage Jacla style Navajo Turquoise Bead Heishi MOP Mother of Pearl Shaped like Corn beads with Coral end caps and Sterling, Graduated Double Jacla Necklace signed Benny Aguilar very rare to find by this artisan few pieces appear on the market, with each bead slightly different beautiful varying colors of blue some green and earthtones, edge beads red coral, a must have! Condition is excellent the turquoise appears to be natural, the beads are not perfectly circular, an estate sale find of a long time collector, will be listing some very unusual pieces so keep checking back!! Bio from other ebayer, "Hello there. This is a gorgeous piece and I believe it was made by Benny Aguilar who was in the 70s until his death considered the Master heishi maker of his day. Unfortunately, his legacy was not preserved but his work is in many high end private collections and museums. He was a friend of mine for many years and I have a lot of his work. For years he and his wife Frances worked together on these pieces. Their work together was signed FBA but before that, he signed his work BA. In time he was, to my knowledge, the only one who made multiple strands of fine as silk heshi, as small as 1 mm in diameter. He was also the one of the first to use karated gold. I know because I was a goldsmith in the 70s I gave him some 20 and 22K gold to use in some pieces he made for me.
