This famous print and signature are on thin cardboard, possibly once framed together. The print measures 19 1/2" X 13 1/2" with the card 1 1/4" X 3 3/8". About the artist: Jacques Villon (July 31, 1875 – June 9, 1963), also known as Gaston Duchamp, was a French Cubist and Abstract painter and printmaker. Among Villon's greatest achievements as a printmaker was his creation of a purely graphic language for cubism – an accomplishment that no other printmaker, including his fellow cubists Pablo Picasso or Georges Braque, could claim. (Wikipedia) We believe this in excellent condition. The printing is bold, clean and clear. I see no flaws in the print. There is a mark in the paper beside the black edge, but I see it in other prints of "Composition". As I am not an expert on art, please see my photographs for more description.
