Description: Here we have a reproduction body stripe kit for a Jaguar XJS, 2 colour type. PLEASE NOTE: These are NOT genuine Jaguar parts. These stripes have been painstakingly reproduced to original dimensions to ensure authenticity. They are supplied in high quality vinyl to ensure long service, Not cheap materials to make the price attractive! In short, you get what you pay for. I reproduced this stripe kit for a client who was carrying out some restoration work on an XJS which required the stripes replacing. After an exhaustive search neither myself or the client could find a supplier of replacement stripes, hence I set about reproducing the full kit. The images show the kit applied to the car & also the kit as supplied. Images 6 & 7 show the front wing sections before the application tape has been applied to show the quality of the materials used & to show the colours. Image 9 shows the colour combinations reproduced to date, Dark orange/Silver, Mid red/Silver, Burgundy/Silver & Burgundy/Charcoal grey metallic. Mid red/Charcoal is now available (not shown in colour examples). As can be seen in the images the stripes are an accurate reproduction of the originals & I would challenge even the most fanatic enthusiast to determine them from the original factory item if fitted correctly. PLEASE NOTE: All sections have been made slightly longer to allow the stripes to be folded around the panel edges as per Jaguar factory fitment & for ease of fitment (with the exception of the front section of the wings). WHEN MAKING PAYMENT PLEASE STATE COLOURS REQUIRED by adding a message to seller on the Paypal payment page as I cannot manufacture the kit without this information. If you can supply an image of your original stripes I will be able to determine the original colours.Any information any enthusiast can supply with regard to colour combinations would be greatly appreciated. Fitting a full kit is strongly recommended to ensure a perfect colour match as stripes can lose their colour with age. An essential item for completing a restoration or if your original stripes have lost their colour or shine.
