Description: This is a James Avery, Edison’s kerrcrafters one-of-a-kind praying angel wall plaque. I have only heard of one other person owning one and they are in there 60s and 70s and told me that it is a James Avery retired 1960s praying angel solid wood plaque with Edison care crafters engraved in the back of it. It has a brass James Avery tag on lower back and the front is hand hammered brass. Absolutely beautiful angel. Weighed on a digital scale at 3 lbs. 7 oz. like I said this is probably the most beautiful piece I’ve seen of James Avery designs WoW it has so many imperfections and a little bit of rust. Whatever happens to brass material over time type stuff like natural oxidation, possibly definitely lots of marks which gives it. Its beauty, it has nicks in the wood, but it is perfect because it’s a James Avery Edison’s Kerrcrafters retired one of a kind 1960s or 1970s praying angel brass and Wood and Hand hammered nails looks amazing. You can tell it took a lot of time to make this. Edison’s kerrcrafters is a very well-known furniture company that makes very high-end solid wood furniture no wonder their name is on it as they probably worked together with James Avery at the time who knows will maybe find out more information in the future James Avery never got back with me to give me any info, I had to call the store and luckily the lady there said she had worked there since the 1980’s and said that she owned one and it’s called a James Avery praying angel from the 1960s, of course retired but it was never confirmed that there is another one. Approximately 15 inches tall, and 14 inches wide at the widest point. If sold it will be shipped in a reinforced cardboard box with lots of padding, etc.
