Yabe holds a degree from the Faculty of Engineering at Nihon University, and he served in various positions, including Head of the Industrial Chemistry Department and Chief Adviser for Career Guidance at Machida Technical High School. In 1987, he received a Ph.D. in Economics from Mindanao University in the Philippines. Currently, he serves as the Honorary Principal of Machida Design School and a member of the Machida City Cultural Heritage Protection Council.
