The true beauty of nature has been captured wonderfully by this artist and features raised, textured areas adding depth and a 3D quality to this amazing scene of 2 waterfalls flowing down the rocky hillside. The artist has added an organic element with the real tree bark frame that looks stunning. The very outer edge of the frame has been painted black and the inner frame has been painted gold for a cohesive look that adds a modern, mid-century touch. Taped on the back there is a handwritten note which reads "Purchased in Nikko, Japan in 1979 for $1500 = $7.50. Wow, that dates this piece to the 1970's!
